| In Neeta's profile, she had a list of happy thoughts. Here, I've compiled my own. Not a comprehensive list.
Hummingbirds(which don't chirp); the Narnia Chronicles--any book I grew up with, really; the Muppets; Winning Trivial Pursuit; Singing along with the radio, especially with my sisters as backup; Ok, I agree with the sunshine, but even better are full rainbows, fingers of sunlight, light breezes, and misty rain--all at the same time--which I've experienced twice in my life; Unknown men in shockingly ugly shirts; Strangers who wear yellow socks with black dress shoes; Jon Stewart; Beating my sister in math races.
| From another conversation with APL: APL: I was having trouble online, so I had to do it over the phone. I hate going over the phone. me: Oh, so do I. APL: It's actually very cramped. me: ...uh...what is? APL: Going over the phone. me: ...it's...cramped? What do you mean? APL: It's...wait. What did I say?
No, it didn't make sense to me, either.
And I was thinking about it, and now I wonder... why didn't I get first crack at the action figures? A poseable Billy Yank would be wicked.
| From a recent conversation with APL: me: Sorry, what did you say? APL: I said, same thing! -- oh wait. No, I didn't. You said that.
Am eagerly anticipating receipt of my Jefferson action figure. Or was it Washington? Some dead president.
And finally, does anyone have a clue what the censored words might be in the following--? "The turned worm boasts: I copulate! the unturned says: You look it. You're a d----- b----- b----- p---- bb----- says the worm that's turned. Quite says the other. Cuckoo!" Which is from "Worm Either Way," by David Herbert Lawrence. I can't think of any possibilities for p----.

| Last night I wanted to share with you a beautiful spring day and My Favorite Recurring Dream, which is really My Favorite Dream Period. But xanga was difficult, several times.
Tonight, I wanted to recount a charming tale about my manipulative 5th grade self. But xanga decided to be difficult, again.
So now you all you get is a working list of Meat's Summer Reading List. I'm trying to leave out books that high school will require, as well as books that Meat's already read. Suggestions welcome, since I'm having trouble remembering what a 13 yr old girl likes to read, and ought to read, and will understand.

| Hey, Tim! No, I'm finishing out the month here at Cal, but I'll be home in June.
I would like to take this time to assure everyone that my older sister is of course very good at causing inferiority complexes. Really. Trust me on this.
